Whether you’re a seasoned ham with more antennas than friends, a prepper who considers “redundant backups” foreplay, a hiker who wants to text from the top of Mount Hamilton, or someone who just thinks this whole mesh thing sounds neat—we want you.
No experience required. FCC license recommended but not mandatory for basic operations (ISM band operation is license-free; higher power requires ham license). Willingness to experiment, occasionally fail, learn, and possibly carry electronics up a mountain: essential.
Get Involved:

- Attend our monthly meetups and technical workshops
- Deploy your own node and become part of the network
- Help us map coverage and identify optimal node locations
- Bring snacks (we’re engineers; we run on caffeine and burritos)
